A bit of a problem...
Havent played for sooo long, dusted off my Prophecies box and reinstalled.
Also went out and bought EotN.
I figured it would be as easy as logging in then going off and playing my Necro/Monk.
Not so.
Hes 20, with no elite skills, the usual vendor armor and random skills here and there which Im sure have either been nerfed or whatever since last I played.
I never even finished Prophicies with him.
I keep wondering if I should start from scratch all over again, but that would be a waste of my toon thats rearing to go.
So I figure Id come here and ask for some help
What I really need to know is which skills should I have on my bar, what should my attributes be, I plan on solo farming since I hear that is or was possible.
Where should I go for that, an easy spot just to help me get back into it.
I miss the game, and have finally given WoW a slot in the bottom of a box somewhere in the garage.
I really need youre help guys.

Not quite sure if you know but a '55 monk' is often used to solo farm, not as 'invincible' as it's made out... but it's a start. Google search 'PvX wiki' and you will find a big lot of builds that you can just copy and paste (providing you have the skills). To really start farming good, you'll need to unlock Hard Mode. (By completing the campaign in NM), this will increase your drop/s. If you need any more help as that sounds a bit vague even to me, pm me in game.

if you restart DONT delete your old guy
you get b-day presents every year on the day you made that guy, if he is old you might get something worth money.

IMO, finish Prophecies. Then move to EotN. Necro is a great profession to play. And although you might be gimped for not having some Factions and Nightfall skills, you have access to Spiteful Spirit which is one of the greatest skills in the game. Go cap it asap.

Do NOT make another N/Mo. Use your old one. It'll be much more fun.
What campaigns do you own? Prophecies only?

And don't forget to complete the two 15-attribute point quests, if you haven't already done so. If you can't remember, go to your build panel and look at the total number of attribute points you have to play with. You should have 200 if you are level 20 and have completed both quests.

Check the Necro Sticky, Moloch Vein did an astounding job with it. Put way too much work into it for you not to read it, live it, and be it.
Since these are all pretty general answers, and the OP obviously hasn't read Moloch's Sticky, I'm /closing this thread. Again, check the Sticky, and once you have more questions about the build you choose to run, or between a few builds, then post about that.
Best of luck, glad to have you back @ GW!
